Maybe so my friend....but in England and Europe.....we donlt call it that. Who cares what others call it. Do you not understand the term "soccer"? Would you tell a German that he's wrong when he calls it Fussball?
In Ireland, we have our own indigenous Football, so we call soccer soccer and Gaelic Football football.

In German Football is Fussball, in English it is Football. And in Ireland, it is soccer, the gaelic is "sacar".
Telling an Irish man that he is wrong to call soccer soccer is like telling a German that calling it Fussball is wrong. "IT'S FOOTBALL!"

Every Englishman who posts in this forum. It is strange. Like, I'm sure you wouldn't be upset if I referred to your sport as "stickball".
