Given that both matches are level and there's the possibility of extra time and penalties, I thought I'd pose this question:
ManU v Barca (0-0 after first leg), no score after 90 minutes and the game goes to extra time. Then both score in extra time ..
What happens next?
Originally posted by Angry BoyI agree with it. If it wasn't like this then one team would have the advantage of playing the extra-time on home soil without any catch. As it is, it's harder to say who has the advantage.
Correct. It's one of those rules that I don't necessarily agree with, but if it works for Liverpool on Wednesday then I won't be complaining!
Predictions:
ManU 2 Barca 1
Chelsea 1 Liverpool 1 (Liverpool to win in ET or on pens)

United are going to Moscow!!!!
What a tense match!
Brown, Rio and Tevez were stand out performers for me.
Hopefully we`ll kick on and win the title now.
I can see a 1 1 draw and I think Pool will win it on pens.

Originally posted by Doyle78I don't want Liverpool to get to the final but it would be a much easier game than against Chelsea.

No Liverpool player has even scored (for Liverpool) against Manchester United in the Premier League under Rafa Beneithus.
I didn't see the game, but most reviews said he worked for the team, instead of himself.
Usually his problem on the big stage was that he was tried too hard to do it by himself and it's obviously much harder to do everything by yourself against the best teams. If he's learning to work more for the team in those games, then that's a definite improvement.
