Choose your best 11: 4 4 2 seems to be the official formation.
VDS (Honorable mention to D. James))
Lescott Ferdinand Vidic Evra (Honorable mention to Clichy)
Ronaldo Carrick Fabregas Joe Cole
Rooney Torres
Unlucky not to make it: Bentley, Johnson, Brown, Gerrard, Berbatov, Tevez, Adebayor (left out due to loss of form at end of season)

My XI:
Van der Sar
Sagna Ferdinand Carvalho Clichy
Ronaldo Mascherano Fabregas Joe Cole
Rooney Torres
Sagna is an interesting choice. Tough competition at right back this season, what with Glen Johnson, Sagna and Brown all playing well.

Originally posted by RagnorakYes, I thought about that regarding Carvalho. I do think he's been Chelsea's life saver this season (Terry has been under-performing this season, IMNHO) in the games he played. Sagna was quite good until he got injured.

I don't think Arsenal's dip in form is due to his injury alone, but it certainly didn't help them.

bentley GERRARD Fabregas ronaldo
kean Torres
I have gone for a more balanced side, i know lescott playes CH or LB but he will be fine at RB. Ronaldo can play either wing so bentley can
go on his fav side of right.
I though Kean would complement Torris and also because he has scored more goals then rooney so far this season, but either can play there.
(no real holding mid-fielder there, but they will be fine!

Only one team of the year - the Mighty Rams!
On target to be the first club to only win 1 league game (and technically cup too if you discount penalties) all season for 109 years.
An achievement worthy of applause.
I wonder if Steve Bloomer is still watching...

Couldn't leave out Essien so put him at RB, where like Evra he could get forward whilst Mascherano would sit and protect.

Carragher has been poor by his standards ALL season, and not naming Torres in your team is plain idiotic.
You're the loon my friend.
