Did you see the play Cozart made on your "Rookie of the Year"? Youza!
Houston will win tomorrow to take the series from the Reds.

Didn't hear you mouthing off last night.... we're you sleeping??
I guess the Astros waived their magic Wandy at you.....

Latos and his 5.64 ERA??

Lyles will have an attitude tomorrow.
I like Houston's chances.

His attitude will be back in AAA in a few weeks.

LOL...this kid is going to be something special very soon.
It would be nice if it is now.
The only reason he didn't break camp with the big club is that he had options.

His 2-8 record with a 5.36 ERA last year might have had something to do with him not "breaking camp" for the DisAstros. To be fair, he did pitch a decent game against the Reds last August 3 (7IP, 3 ER) to get his first major league win after 6 losses. But that's the most you can expect this time and it won't be good enough against Latos now that he's pitching to form (7 scoreless innings last start).

Houston's slash line against Latos in his four starts against them: .165/.198/.216

Maybe you'll get a run ........................................

Yep, a kid, pitching for the worst team in baseball with only two pitches took his lumps.

This time, watch his new pitch. Makes that fastball that much better.

And, for your information, the reason he didn't break camp with the club in the spring
is because Lucas Harrell was outstanding in the spring and Kyle Weiland also pitched well.

Let's see what happens. This kid will be another Oswalt in time.
I guess you will poo poo Oswalt too, even though he was better than the ENTIRE current
Reds pitching staff.

The kid out-pitched the hell out of Latos.

Unfortunately, our bullpen allowed the reds to tie the game.
Now we'll see who blinks first.

Nice AB from Cozart with the sacks juiced in the 8th.
Still cannot understand why they keep pitching to Jay Bruce though.

Houston's bullpen just reeks.

6 IP, 3 ER is OK, but not exactly Cy Young material.

Never said he was Cy Young......yet.

The kid is going to be VERY good, if he doesn't get hurt.

Reds hung on to win it 6-5.

Phillips laid out to save a hit by Bogusevic in the 9th.

REDS WIN!

Great defensive play by BP in the 9th. Three series wins in a row.

Is that a freight train or the Cincinnati Reds?

He looked OK, a little wild with three walks and that got his pitch count up - 95 after 6. Not sure why your manager let him lead off the 7th and then pulled him without facing a batter in the bottom half.

Brad Mills is unconventional, but I think he was trying to save the pinch hitter since
Carlos Lee has the sprained ankle, or maybe he wasn't sure he wasn't going to go
out to pitch the bottom half of the inning. This team, with the manager included, is
prone to having brain farts.
