France/England is very hard to call considering I thought England were useless.

I think England v Argentina could be a classic final. At the mo, I think anything is possible.

Whoever plays Argentina has to adopt the correct strategy. The teams that have played them so far have played into their hands.

Eng...17 France....15

Could it be settled by the "Knock on of God"? 😉

What the heck are you guys smoking? Argentina don't have the all-round game. SA to win by a clear 20 points.

Having watched all the Rugby WCs from the first one in 1987 to now.i have to say this england team has to be the worse team that has every made the final of this competition.

I wonder if Crowley will change his choon after Hernandez drops the Argies to the final? 😉

Hope he's fit. What are the odds on Argentina winning outright?

Ha! I said I'd like to see drops down to 2 points.

Anyway, like Bill said, I can't see Argentina winning. On paper they shouldn't even be considered to beat the boks, but this WC has been full of surprises...
If the boks can kick well into space and keep the Argentines in their half and play for set phases - the Pumas don't have the firepower to score enough tries to win outright.

It's barely credible in what has been an incredible tournament. England 14 - France 9 and in the final. Like the ABs, France have only themselves to blame.

I see the English forwards are back up to their old tricks of slowing balls down with hands in the ruck, coming from the side, interfering with the scrumhalf and pulling mauls down.

When they play by the rules they can barely win a game, so they have to resort to these tactics again.

It's disgusting that they got away with that.

pissed but happy - got knocked out of a cup competition today but Eng win (and I am off to the bookies to collect my winnings on Eng to reach final) Oh happy days.

Eng 1st try was not lucky - that is what was meant to happen - a bit like saying a hole in one is lucky - it is the whole point of the try.

As for worst team to reach a final - well you can only play what is in front of you - we could yet be world champions for the next 4 yrs.

Yipee - Come on Argentina!!!!

As every decent pack will do - don't deny it.

I'd rather we play England in the final than any other of the top teams.

Why is this the argument everyone uses - "Well, ALL teams do it".
I know, the boks do it, Ritchie McCaw is a master at it etc. etc., but that's not the point.
Infringements should be penalised.
The English do it all the time, on every ball, but for some reason they don't get penalised. It's crazy, there should've been at least one yellow card for repeated infringement tonight. The French missed a trick - Kaplan was apparently not interested in blowing up professional fouls, they should've played the English game 😕

I'm not over-confident at all.
I know the boks have a big test tomorrow - the Pumas have shown they can beat any of the top teams - and if we go through, a WC final will always be tough, no matter who you play.

Luck is a BIG part of rugby. That ball sometimes seems to have a mind of its own.
Damien Traille should have played the ball, but decided to let it bounce. If you bet on the bounce, you have to play the hand you're dealt...
