Yes, you know.

Now you know how little soccer support there is in the US. I don't think the rest of the world really gets it. Just like Europeans don't really understand the size of the US.

The US is nearly as large as all of Europe combined.

I know

That 50 000 plus turned up to every last 16 match in the 94 WC

It hardly shows lack of interest

I am not disputing that more average Americans seem to prefer US football to proper football

So what else are we arguing about, apart from your woeful spelling and maths?

Thanks, but moving to geography, I do understand the size of USA. The 94 WC spread itself well across your vastness, and attracted those attendance figures at every venue

So your point is that soccer has a very small but loyal following in the US?

The Atlanta United Football (soccer for the dopey Americans) attracted an average attendance this this of 44,247 to its games and 71, 874 to its last game. I hardly call that lack of interest.

Based on the latest figures by statisticians football will super-cede gridiron as Americas favoured game within 12 years. Americans are a bit slow but they'll catch up with the rest of us.

No idea or interest what it had now

My original argument, which I am totally fed up of repeating, is that in 1998, when USA lost to Iran, there WERE US citizens who were aware that USA had a football team.

Evidence ....1994 WC attendance figures

Your pal Buzz argued otherwise

I suppose you do not understand the population of the area. Let me do some research.

Of course there were people who were aware and a small minority of those people even cared.

?????

Why is sq km relevant? All of your posts quote population

Well, thank the Lord for that

According to Buzz, no one cared

I am happy with that
