ghana deserved the win. Obviously they will come out of this thing ranked a lot higher than they went in, very likely above both the USA and England.

USA struggled the whole tournament. Ghana was one of four teams I said to look out for as severe underdogs coming in the others were uruguay, south korea, and Japan.


ghana had a very young team. often it is the young, fearless teams that make deeper runs in the cup
