USA's football future looks really bright. A wonderful group of youngsters. Destroyed Czechs 3-0 in convincing fashion and played lights out. France was also awesome in beating Argentina. Mexico got ref help to beat NKPR. Enjoyable cup thus far.

still think the refs have been good at the wc? saw the us game last night, what a sinker... how did he give that as a pen after refusing to give the us for a clear foul in the box. madness. i hope we never see that ref again.

I missed that game and the highlights only showed the Uzbek penalty. Refs had been good up to then. How'd you like Canada's tying goal against Das Englander?

the ref was shocking throughout, countless rediclous dives given as foul and two clear pens not given (one for each side) and, well you saw the pen that was given. a complete joke.

didn't see the canada, better than the france goal against japan the other day?

About as good except this was scored by the goalie from about 60m+, took a freak bounce and went in!

I didn't find it to be brilliant really.
I saw it as a very lucky shot and some very porous defense.

Fun to watch, but that is about it.

Brilliantly random and unexpected. Agreed. Goalies dream of scoring. Seeing it happen is a real treat.
