Under-rated Footballers...

Following on from the 'over-rated' thread...

Bob Hatton - going back a few years I know, as a front man used to graft his preverbials off for the team, never got any accolades for it.

Tony Adams - got over all the 'eeyore' chants, and proved to be an excellent centre-half in my opinion. Solid.

John Robertson - old Forest winger. Absolute quality, and deceptively quick when he wanted to be.

Jussi Jaaskelainen of Bolton. He is a top keeper and has won that team so many points and games for the last 4 years.

come on guys - this is a good idea for a thread, but it rather defeats the object if you keep on coming up with names who've played in dozens of international matches and are already superstars of the game

Junior Agogo is a good call.

But Lucas Neill - is many things but he is not underated

And of course the most underrated player ever........

How can you say that Nesta, Batistuta, and Giggs are under-rated? They're 3 of the most OVER-rated players in the history of football surely???

And Pirlo. Whoever doesn't rate Pirlo must be blind or female.

Michael Dawson- come in the same deal that took Andy Reid to spurs from forest. all the press talk was about Reid, but its Dawson who has come through big.
