Russ hasn't announced it yet. He usually annouces it sometime in December. Probably, it will post in mid-December and start right at the beginning of the year.

Hmm, a few words in that observation may need "quotation" marks - although better to delete the whole thing as there ought be no commentary on games in progress. I take that to include even trivial observations like "Hmm, both sides appear to still have Kings."

Games are rushing to a close. For once, I think we will have a champion crowned in the actual year of the competition. That's if Russ remembers to do it this time.

Yes, indeed!

The winner gets a virtual trophy on the tournament page, plus the immortal words "2009 Championship" emblazoned on their virtual profile. And as an added bonus they get to have all their games extensively analyzed for cheating.

Robbi looks in very good shape now. I guess, given the way he absolutely annihilated laurentmeric in the last round he should have been a favourite.
