The new person would end up playing two less games which is fine as that can be taken into account in the final scoring.
Seraphimvulture is back. I'll offer him his place first but if he doesn't want it then biffer can have it (on the assumption that he'll manage to make sure he has two games free at the start of each round).
These games are 3/14 too. That's not a problem as timebanks were always negotiable.
I don't think I mentioned but the position I played against SV I had in my database. A single game played between Leko and Kramnik. We deviated at about move 3.
Out of curiosity, does anyone else find the positions in these games extremely odd? I particularily found the starting positions jarring and hard to contemplate. I think the fact that I have lately limited my play to the english and french makes it harder to adjust to new positions...

Yes they are a little weird. In my games against Yuga we both started with bishops on the h-a diagonal in direct line with the a file king. It's a little disconcerting.
