Don't be so silly gooster I'd never claim that. I said Handy Andy and I had some good P.M. conversations nothing about being buddies unless you screen shot it which may be border line with the rules, and can show me where I said we were buddies!

You have a habit of twisting the truth to suit yourself old chap.

Well FMF didn’t converse with you for about 2 years because he thought you weren’t worth bothering with. HandyAndy made it abundantly clear what he thought of you, as do I.

I’ll give it a year and you’ll be reminiscing over FMF like you do over Handy Andy.

FMF was/is smarter than you, and you know I didn't care for his persona that much, but may have had to do with the company he kept, meaning yourself of course. In my opinion he was always the smarter of the two of you. No one will replace him the way I see it presently.
Give it a year or so and you’ll be claiming you and he were big buddies like you do with HandyAndy.

Not true. If somebody walks though the desert and finds a watch, then only a total idiot will not recognize that the watch is designed, and not the result of chance.

    Desigin is simple to recognize.
I agree with you about the watch, but I disagree that it’s a good analogy of a person recognising intelligent design in the universe.

I look at the the world, life the heavens etc and I see the handiwork of intelligent design because that is what I believe, not because I can point to hard evidence of it. I would love to have hard evidence of a creator to show atheists, but I haven’t seen anything conclusive.

Something which is discovered in science, such as DNA, is so complex that it takes science years to fully understand it. Wether DNA is understood or not understood is not indicative of a creator either way.

I just don’t like this sort of claim because I think it makes a mockery of faith, the faith by which a person knows God. Repeatedly saying “ah-ha … here is the proof of a creator” and some time later having to admit “oh maybe not” is just silly.

When I was much younger and my life was hectic, I used to dream of the day when I would feel old enough to take it easy, eat Danish pastries and smoke an occasional cigar. I figured I would be about 70. So far it hasn't happened - I still am careful with the pastries and have never tried a cigar. 🙂
    I can’t imagine you with a cigar.

I'll bet your garden has no straight lines. You mean to tell me that you never had the gall to tell anyone where they needed to go? Can you see straight? Are you defending the indefensible? Dive is nothing short of insulting just about everyone. He's a first-class misogynist, to begin with, and he's rotten to the core, as he demonstrates with his constant nagging, seeking o ...[text shortened]... he cats. And I'm still working on a Dive repellent, but there are a couple of obstacles to overcome.
    Oh diddums …

Did drewnogal call you out and now you’re going to do what…. “Drop off a dozen cats to crap in her vegetable patch”.

What an utter prick you are.

To be factual the "nearly impossible" always has to be said in every chance of odds no matter how great, but reasonable, and likely, could it occur in so much time the odds on what needs to take place are so overwhelming it is laughable you'd still accept that over a mind simply doing the work.

I'll ask you to stop making claims about what I accept and don't unless you ca ...[text shortened]... anisms are taking place in life. In contrast, yours at every level is a figment of your imagination.
He said you’re a biblical literalist who believes the earth is about 6,000 years old. You’ve defended that position relentlessly for years and years. If you’re now walking it back then you need to recant all your claims about literalisms in the bible and start being honest about it.

I agree, but the argument is over mindlessness and mind, and it isn't much of an argument either. The systematic functionally complex nature of life where it has integrated systems performing various functions to keep the whole alive is not the handy work of luck and necessity on any scale of change over time.
This is merely opinion and conjecture.

    You have any evidence?
    I’d love to see some.

If design is proven, then also a Designer is proven, because there is no design without a Designer.
But design isn’t proven; at not least by what you have posted in this thread.

    That’s the point.

Do you think anyone who enjoys picking on another is being conformed to the image of Christ? I supposed if someone conforms Christ to their own image, they can do whatever they want.
Why do you think I’m “picking on” Galveston75 when I’m calling out his dishonesty?

When I was twelve years old, my dad was a college work study student at a company called Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He told us about Voyager I and how they put a golden record on it. One day he told us they let him etch his name somewhere on Voyager. My father died in 2018 and Voyager I is billions of miles away…as you say. I like to think of him hanging out there on Voyager s ...[text shortened]... , I know…

But when we are long gone, Voyager and my dad’s name will still be out there somewhere…
    That’s really cool.

    Hats off to your Dad.
