Thank you, it was a lot of hard work and many games played as Trev said, but many games have to be played to win. Metallica has lost a lot of good players over recent years, with two players passing. I was only a small part of that Clan, and I don't believe I hurt it that much in my leaving. I was fortunately able to help Breaking Bad but we had a great bunch of people in our clan who really made it happen. I can't say enough about Michael our Clan Leader who made all the challenges. He spent more time on studying players over the past 11 years getting to know everyone's strengths and weaknesses and who to pair up against who. It takes years of experience and I would put him right up there with the leader of Metallica, although not having as many wins Metallica will be the Clan that set the level. I don't see any clan winning 7 in a row as they did.

First let me say thank you coming from the whole Clan, it takes a clan/team to win a championship.
If I may give you a little unsolicited advice. Try not to get too Top Heavy in Ratings or you will have difficulty in getting matches. You do need a few Heavy players To compete with other high rated but there are more lower rated players. You need a mixture of rating from 1000 up. You will indeed find many players are in the 1300-1600 level some like myself even drop down into the high 1200's from game load. (Playing many games at once) I love the idea of more Clans Competing and am actually an advocate for it and have been for some time.

I have a little experience when it comes to clans I have been fortunate to have been a member of Metallica from 2008 to June 21/21 that would be about 13 years experience with the best clan was Metallica at that point in time. I know a little bit about how Championships are won my friend. Including 7 in a row with Metallica. Trust me, you need a mixture of players from low to high or you will not get as many challenges as needed to win a Championship. No one is going to play players where they know they are going to lose before a piece is moved.
As I 've said I have always been advocate for more competition in the Clan Challenges.

Given my previous clan experience with the Misfits, I cannot devote the time and effort which would be necessary to play a competitive game-load. Moreover, I have noted that my play suffers catastrophic decline when I play more than four games simultaneously. I wish you and your clan many fortuitous challenges.

I believe sir your declining the invitation was a wise one. You would have problems getting many games to start with because there wouldn't be many Clan Players who could compete against you at your level of play in my most humble opinion, which is around expert level.
