New idea for this forum

Close it down and use the server space for something practical, such as a dedicated US politics forum perhaps.

Yep I agree with dive close It down

If there is discussion about points allocation it will need to be had somewhere I suppose, but now that much of the troublemaking seems to have been mercifully anaesthetised the forum seems more like a grotty war memorial rather than a place for more measured forum discourse on clan challenge improvements.

Don't try to improve things on the clan front
There are certain individuals who rise up and shake their fist and spit fire at even the thought of such things as making the points awarded more transparent than it is at the moment
