I found it very cheap. 5 Yuan or so for a cuppa was a lot cheaper than here in Oz. It was also surprisingly good. If in Beijing try the Laoshe Tea House. Nice place.

How did you find the price Rusty?
Well I know a Chinese couple with a daughter who run a small Chinese resturant. They go to china once a year and pick up Chinese tea. I had them pick me up a box of it which is quite expensive I can't remember the name of it now.
I believe it was a green tea the leaves were loose and made a big pot. To make a long story short they gave it to me as a gift. I was a once or twice a week customer at the time.

The price of tea coffee even a soft drink is a rip off compared to a meal if eating out in uk.
Meal £4,99 but £3.50 for a cup of tea.
Taking my mother out is a nightmare she has got to have a cuo of tea another cup with some cold water and an empty cup to mix it in.
