But I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.
I have read that Islamic fundamentalists frown upon chess even though the game originated on the middle east (either Iran or Iraq)

Fundamentalists don't encourage independent thought.

Jehovah's Witnesses have the same level of fundamental thinking.

My parents were in the religion for a while. They eventually left.

I never took it on.
