Iggy Pop.
I saw Iggy at quite a ripe age and I swear he moved more fot the first song than most other artists do for the whole set!

(As opposed to that the band Slint seem to move as least as practicly possible.)

Iggy gave a good show. Little Richard and James Brown were energetic, but I wouldn't have gone to see them. Same for Jerry Lee Lewis. Elton in his prime was a frenetic little poof who could really move around on that stage. Pat Benatar had some pep. And ol' Mick can still move like a flyweight and strut with the best of 'em.
But those guys make my eyebrows hurt with all their jumpin' around. I say "Just sing and play yer guitar. Sit on a stool, stand, whatever, but try to be still so as not to spoil the mellow moment."

I guess it all depends on whether the music calls for it...no?!
Nick Cave in his Birthday Party days was pretty far out. So were the rest of the band!

I wish he was Prime Minister. Then again he has changed. "sigh"
Maybe we should call up Jello Biafra

Now that John Denver and Dan Fegelberg have passed on, I would have to say James Taylor. Energy exudes from the man.
