A really enjoyable morning reading these thank you all 🙂

You know, I'm constantly surprised at how good some of these submittals are. This will take some consideration.

Do you think VR will need to make a deal with the devil to be able to figure out how to vote?

How fab! Some really interesting reads. Very hard to pick which ones I enjoyed the most.

I can't say I enjoyed Chasm but it was well written. I don't really like horror stories, espically when children are involved.

Ask me tomorrow and I'll probably vote differently - good quality entries all round.

1. Georgia Epilogue - Pulled at the Southerner in me.
2. Chasm - Disturbing if somewhat predictable.
3. Something Devilish.

1. nightscape - some excellent scene setting and visualisation. 5 points.
2. something devilish. not sure about the blind man. either not needed or introduce him earlier. felt rushed at the end, but i like the general feel. again good visualisation and a nice twist with the final line. 3 points.
3. HOW MÖTLEY CRüE BROKE MY HEART. sympathy vote? no. it had a nice (broken) heart, and appealed to me. i also happen to love bukowski so that namecheck didn't hurt... 2 points.
