Is there a song that soothes your spirit?
Here's mine;
Case of you sung by Diana Krall ()
And Somewhere over the rainbow sung by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole (&ob=av2n)
Those and my Adele albums, be nice to have some other songs to put on, if you know any?

Not a song, no. But Bach's concerti for cello solo, yes.

Is there a link where I can hear that? I can only find covers on line.

Thank you. There was a buzzing but I found the original, it's relaxing.

Joni Mitchell is such a genius, here is the original of 'A case of you':

Just Joni and her dulcimer. Diana Krall is an amazing singer and pianist for sure, but here is the original:

Listening to both I hear more emotional range in Joni.

That said, it pleases me to see the new generation of musicians singing her songs! I notice that video I posted has had more than a million hits. That has to say something for her genius 40 years later to be still heard like that.

One song that soothes me: Wisdom Guide me, Eileen Mcgann:

On her website there is a tab called "Listen", you may have to scroll in the box to find this song.

Thank you everyone, that's added a few for me to chose from when I need to.

Besides Richard's Bach suggestion, try this Chet Baker song:

This one particular recording of one of Mozart's most beautiful slow movements:

Sad songs usually get the emotions moving for me. Tom waits.

I also like Magic Dirt because of the female singer. It's as if she was talking to me directly and I like that.

Isn't that the instrumental? Interesting. I would've thought the Smiths songs where Morrisey is singing were more moving.
