And yet the middle class isn't suffering at all, nobody on social security has had any problems, and all the hoopla is made-up media garbage.
And then you woke up.

Or not.

(Most likely not, as that would cause you far more pain than you could stand.)

As I understand it, the federal employees fired were all new probationary employees with less than six months on the job, so I doubt there will be much of a problem.
Not like they were getting rid of people a year away from retirement and screwing over anyone.,
You understand wrong.

Probationary employees (most often 90 days or less) are such a tiny percentage of any workforce. This is just part of your pollyanna "the sky is NOT falling!" box of lies.

A year from retirement would have better. They'd have got a redundancy payment. If the other had just joined they're probably quite young and now have to start over having recently just got a job.
Not in America. I've never heard of a 'redundancy payment'. EDIT: Okay, I just looked it up and here we call it 'severance pay', and it is a minuscule amount, up to a year in salary, but that pales in comparison to a pension, which is usually for the life of the pensioner.

There are people I know personally who were a year or less from retirement who were just 'let go' with no explanation and they just lost their pensions with absolutely zero compensation. Corporations in America are brutal.

Most likely true.

There's a video on X of a reporter asking a guy what his sign means and he had to take out a piece of paper and read what the sign means 🤣

Protestors bought and paid for.

The dumbocrats are pathetic.
Cool story, bro.

It is actually quite telling, really, that the MAGAbots here don't recognize what democracy looks like. To them, democracy looks like a waste of time holding signs in a crowd. Amazingly, that is all they see from inside their Cult. And more bizarrely still, they think ordinary people cannot possibly coordinate such gatherings on their own, and be sincere in what they say ...[text shortened]... ervatism. What passes for "conservatism" these days is nothing more than rank thuggery and fascism.
Not only a cult, but a cult with near zero empathy for anyone not like them.

Cliff , no body listens to me.
Can you ger 'them' to tell us why they protest stuff, and you never hear about us upstanding conservatives not protesting, and not burning and melting statues, such as that??
Ever hear of Bud Light?

15,000 or so attendees, East 22nd Street along the southern edge of Reid Park, stretching from South Alvernon Way to South Country Club Road.

There is literally nothing more American than protesting for more rights for everyone. The whole point of America was a place where everyone was welcome - sex, gender, nationality, race, religion, everyone. I think we forget t ...[text shortened]... - so be it, diversity is our strength. Just look at the energy. It's a great day to be an American.
Wait, didn't you used to be a conservative?

Maybe I'm confusing you with someone else.

But Alvernon to Country Club is a fair piece. I lived in Tucson for four years going to U of A. I love that town. Of course they had a protest, they're much more liberal than Phoenix.

Way back in the day (like when I was 6), I used to live in a duplex on 20th Street west of Swan. I hear that area is a dump now. 🙁

Videos on X showing people holding signs and not knowing anything about anything.

They were paid and bused in.

The other lames, like the libs here, only went because they don't have a life.
Why do you write volumes here about what you wish, instead of what is?

@Bish

Let me guess 🤔

You got old and irrelevant within your family and friends so you go hang out with libs and trannies to feel welcome?

I've seen the videos of these so called rallies...
Beta people are the majority at those rallies.

I imagine some younger family member of yours is doing some weirdo stuff and you accept it without any objective criticism because nobody else will talk to you.
See my post just above.

April 19th will be even bigger than yesterday. 😆

Maybe you will start another thread about how you "don't care" about anti-Trump demonstrations.

And again after the next demonstration...

And yet again...

And after another one ... 😆
But he might start to cry and wish he'd stood up sooner once his Orange Jesus' dreams of avarice and power come to fruition.

@Cliff-Mashburn said
If they are doing it again on the 19th I will definitely go. Can't decide on my MAGA hat or my TRUMP hat to wear to it..
Good thing you're in Tucson and I'll be in Phoenix.

WoW

A bunch of lames standing around accomplishing nothing.

Half of the people are only their because they have no talent or personality or a life and the dumbocrats fill their ranks with people like that because they will follow anyone willing to just talk to them.

Look at the pics, not an alpha to be seen.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

50 ...[text shortened]... democrat base is talentless ugly people with no personality and they just want to fit in somewhere.
You'd change your mind if you actually came to one.

Liberal women are easier than conservative women, but even we draw the line at incel conservatives.

Hmmmmm, maybe on second thought I'll go down to Tucson to show solidarity with my Alpha Chi Omega sisters. I know some of them will be marching.

"By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
Their flag to April's breeze unfurled,
Here once the embattled farmers stood,
And fired the shot heard 'round the word"

See, I can still quote the Concord Hymn from memory.

And there you are, on the side of the guy with a crown on his head. 😆😆😆
Very damned good!

I haven't heard that recited in a long, long time.

These libs are getting boring, as we all know their discontent has one foundation....personal hatred of Trump. Not much for us conservatives to find credence of their opinions on topics, such as tariffs. They know nothing of this president's attempts to right our ship. Nothing. They holler 'You conservatives, you never got upset about such-and-such!!!" So, kids, we ju ...[text shortened]... hate) colleges will get a haircut!, and the money saved could be used to put y'all in free housing.
We only know that you overdose on Trump's Con-Aid® and that he is trying to sink the ship, not "right" it.

All because the Justice Department dared to charge him, indict him and convict him.
