There is a lot of talk by both candidates in the Presidential Debates about plans ...... plans on Iraq, plans on health care insurance, plans on raising or lowering taxes. plans on creating jobs, plans on public education, etc. etc.
Do they really have those plans and how do they plan (!) to finance these ?
Has anybody any ideas about this issue ?
What are your thoughts on this ?
Here we all are, an international community, commenting on US politics. Nothing new about people in other countries discussing these things, but now we have the internet to share views. I wonder if this will ever impact US politics, at least indirectly. Then again, maybe this should be a new thread, sorry.

exchange of ideas is a good thing. It is much prefered to the
exchange of weapons fire. 🙂

What views of yours have changed as a result of the international debating arena that is RHP?
I won't say that my views have been changed through debates here, but my eyes have been opened to a few things.

And the funny thing is - the voters never seem to work this one out.

Is that valid? If you state you have a plan, should you not be required to state the plan? Someday? In at least some small way?
With W we know the plan. And we agree or not. With Kerry, we see a thing that accused the ENTIRE US MILITARY of war crimes... just to get political power.
So... Those who support him really do think that the US military is evil. Much has been said about Kerry supporters, "Are not really Kerry lovers, but Bush Haters."
Once again I think they miss the point. The hate of Kerry by an ENTIRE GENERATION OF THOSE OF US WHO DIDN'T die of drug overdose... hate kerry with an unsurpassed passion.
Agree or not. You will see on election day the memory of our generation. 85% AGAINST KERRY. And we may be old and stupid, but we know where we vote and we know how to inspect for hanging chads.
<edit> Source Zogby: "Do you believe that all soldiers in Viet Nam in combat roles committed war crimes?" Over 40 , 85% No. Under 40, 54% Yes, the percentage increasing down to the 18 year olds who can't even name the current vice president in 92% of the cases! Go figure.

I would think someone who was in Viet Nam in a combat role would have a better idea of the extent of war crimes than those of us who have just read about it. Someone like John Kerry or Colin Powell for example?

So... Yea. Powel.
Kerry said that the US military was equated to Ghingas Khan.
See what the most honorable Khan did to the conquored.
Powell was there. He planned much of it.
So lets not involve either of them. They are spoiled as far as testimony.
If you cowards dare... read about the cowardice of Kerry. Read about his betrayal. Read about his meeting with the proponents of Viet Nam and later... Pol Pot... who murdered 4 million souls. Kerry came back from Paris and happily went before congress... espousing communism.
Go figure. And you silly Euro turds want what? That we vote for this piece of sh*t? Sorry. You have a lot of work to get to that stage of demented fermentation. Or as we call it out west... "that stage of pure crap."
