Both need reforms. Too bad no one in elected office has any leadership skills to do that.
We elected them because they are good at tweeting and looking good in makeup on FoxNews, but they aren't capable of reforming health care or snap.
@AverageJoe1 saidWhy would they keep trying to pass a bill that they know they can't pass? This is the definition of insanity.
Republicans led a vote in the morning, and after lunch the dems pulled out what they called 'Leverage" , a way to stop the business of the senate regarding funding. The dems are able to hold off food stamps, and as time goes on, they can stop paychecks, beginning tomorrow. Air traffic controllers staying home flights cancelled, etc etc.
Dems are saying, follow me su ...[text shortened]... it as leverage to 'get what they want'. Are you a tranee? All due respects, you seem bit 'funny'.
Dems aren't doing anything because they're not in charge of the government. You give your elected leaders a pass on trying to actually lead?

@Cliff-Mashburn saidThey literally can't do that. Republicans are the only ones who can decide what gets voted on.
Whn the Dems finally vote to open up the govt, they will try to act like they are being heroes and take credit for ending the shut down. Watch for it.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidWell.... yeah. Duh....

And I'm sure you meant when the Trumpers finally get around to opening it. They can open it any time they want, just vote for the ACA subsidies to not go away.
