Please make sure you are registered to vote. Texas recently suspended over 1 million voters (roughly 6% of the voting population) without notifying them. You have until Oct. 5th to verify your status and be eligible to vote on Nov. 3d.

If you don't vote, you can't complain about the result.

This has been going on in several red states since 2016.

The purge that year was huge.

Suspicious that names on the lists were names like Washington, Hernandez and Park.

Some suspect this is what allowed the Kumquat King to seize power.

@Suzianne

I find it highly suspicious that names were simply removed without informing anyone. Correct procedure should have been to send a query letter to each person who might have moved, before removing anyone.

And doing it "in the dead of night", or with less than 30 days before the election, when they couldn't do anything about it. That's what happened in 2016. I also suspect that provisional ballots were never counted that year. Dems probably figured Hillary would blow this poser out of the water and so just went home without voting.

I agree though. My advice for them is with more than 30 days to the election, Hie thine hiney to the elections office (online) to be sure you're still registered.

It's telling that in Texas, of all places, Republicans feel the need to commit such shenanigans. Historically, any political party that engages in voter suppression comes out the loser in the end. It just goes to show how out of touch Republicans are with normal people. It's quite pathetic, really.

Like Trump, do you? Why?

Giving billionaires tax breaks has drawn many folks, I am told.

Demographics are against them, and the smarter ones among them know it. But rather than appeal to a broader voter base, they cheat to stay in power as a minority party.

Demographics are against normal poeple. That is what this comment says.

Republicans aren't normal people.

Most of them are just Trump zombies.

Which of these two guys is most normal.? The one who says that a man cannot become a woman, or the one that says a man can become a woman?
One is a republican, and one is something else.

While you want them to continue making their products outside of the US rather than bringing them back to America, brilliant!

Are you suggesting you’re normal?

Nope just competing against what the libs have been doing for years. Have you lived here, or talking out of your butt?

I was talking about something different, sorry. These are things like getting your address changed to your present one I’d moved etc. and people have had until oct 5th to update and get information up to date and correct. This can be done online.

That doesn't help when you get stripped off the voter rolls on Oct. 6th.

This happened to millions in 2016.
