@sleepyguy saidNo, I'm not a big fan of political violence like you right wingers are.
Just the thought of it really gets you you goin, eh no1?
Went to a couple of BLM demonstrations though; some of us get a little concerned when the State's paramilitary forces keep killing civilians at high rates. Not something "limited government conservatives" seem to worry about though for some reason.
@kevcvs57 saidKanoodling is a criminally underused word choice.
Well you had a racist buffoon in the White House kanoodling with white supremacy groups like the proud boys and oath keepers so if it goes that way if you control both houses expect some blowback from antifa and black self defence groups.
Imagine scum like MTG with actual power it makes a decent persons skin crawl.
I see you’ve already started sending armed MAGAs to drop b ...[text shortened]... a red trickle, no wave just a below average boost that the party not in the White House always gets.
@sonhouse saidOMG some people occupied the capitol building for a few hours we almost lost our Democracy.
@JJ-Adams
Would that be before or after the zombies just declare they won and declare martial law so they can install a dictator who will rule the roost for the next 40 years?
Funny how the year of left wing radicals trashing our cities and burning everything to the ground didn't upset you people.
@sleepyguy saidIn case you're interested (though I'm sure you're not): https://www.statista.com/statistics/1124039/police-killings-rate-selected-countries/
No they just organized peaceful protests, which, gosh darn it, just kept turning into riots.
2019 is the last year I could find comparable stats, but a civilian is about 3.5 times more likely to be killed by police in the US than in Canada and about 4 times more likely than Australia.
You and the other right wingers surely don't want to look at the figures in Europe and Japan.
@no1marauder said - There were no "BLM riots".
I can't read this fake news generator any more. See ya
@earl-of-trumps saidSorry that your repeated lie was exposed, Earl.

@jj-adams saidAfter the Red Wave next week
Do you think that will be the cue for Antifa/BLM to start up again with burning down our cities and attacking cops every night?
"IF" that happens all you'll see is gridlock in DC. Biden won't get anything passed because Mitch will sit on the legislation and refuse to bring it to a vote, and the GOP won't get anything passed because they won't have the votes to overcome a Presidential veto. It will be early 2023, I'll be preparing for the next OTB tournament. No internet and no TV. Just Me, the board, a large room full of chess nerds, and 3 glorious days without listening to a bunch of lying weasels in expensive suits. 🙂
@sleepyguy saidSo you don’t think that election denying republicans running for office and in particular state level candidates pledging to return the electors of their choice rather than those of the general electorate is not a threat to democracy. Is it already contentious and inflammatory to tell the truth in the US.
I don't know what to think, which is why I'm asking the question. This election feels different. Dems seem to keep repeating that Repubs are a "threat to our Democracy" and so on. After the BLM riots it seems reasonable to expect more of the same.
@Soothfast
Looks like women saved our sorry asses. No red wave. SO SORRY JJ. You don't get to see violence rampaging across the us in spite of the fact you zombies LOST BIG TIME.
You all misjudged how far rightwingy things can go. It turns out ultrarightwingnuts are OUT and the adults in the room are left.
And we dems may still win the senate, the ultimate shame of zombies.
@sonhouse saidThere is an outside chance the House can be kept sane, too.

It's too bad about New York. A judge ruled this year that New York had a gerrymander, but unlike similar rulings this year in several gerrymandered red states, the New York judge insisted that the gerrymander had to be fixed immediately. The gerrymandered red states, meanwhile, got to skate by and keep their gerrymander for the current election cycle.
But for this one gross judicial inequity, the Democrats would all but certainly have kept the House.
