Yesterday I called the Apple help line, computer problem. I was connected within 90 seconds, no charge of course, spent an hour clearing an e-mail problem. This is typical USA service, forlack of a better word. This is an example of how we excel, beyond all the stuff you attempt to throw at me. We have an ATM on every corner. You might say that we are more modernized? Singapore may be too, but they jail people for dropping cigarettes.!

Plus GDP doesn’t have much barring how wealthy your average citizen is, the US is way up there in poverty rates amongst its peers

If you're referring to private parochial schools, they can do what they want.
There's a gray area I suppose, but creationism is NOT taught in normal public schools:

Aguillard ruling of the Supreme Court set a Lemon test that limits teaching of creationism in government run schools.
