I comprehended 'Holland is a wooden shoe' just fine shag doody for brains, and noticed that it rhymed with 'stew'. So neither of those things were a problem, the problem is this 'ryhme', this 'prose', this 'poetry' is nearly too childish for Sesame St 5-8 year olds.

It's a suzi post.

Enough said.
“ is nearly too childish for Sesame St 5-8 year olds. ”

Given that you and people like you are probably his intended audience I would say he’s hit the mark perfectly.

You can see how your dumb jibe doesn't work kev. I cringe read it, the audience the poet (?) seeks is suzi, other suzi's, and people like suzi.

Patronizing, lack-wit generalisations don't come any more unimaginative than a German oompah band, or Hungarian stew. This is what entertains and intrigues suzi.

Hand up, I failed school cert English, but for poetry, to read or listen to, I'd go for something like 'If'.

No it definitely works waj, he is literally talking to you, but that’s his style, he keeps it simple and concise, he obviously feels the message is more important than the pretentious of the messenger or recipient.

He's talking to suzi, 5 year olds and, by the look of your attempted defence, kev scottish-highland-fling bamboozles.

Trite cliche' is art for lack wits.

A pretentious arty farty right winger a rare creature indeed, I take it your whoever you need to be in any given thread as long as you can push your right wing misanthropic shtick.

What makes me 'right wing' kev? What definition of 'right wing' are you using and can you give any examples from my posts of 'right wing'?

Probably not, I've been asking the same question for years and it's a sure way of chasing suzi away.

The other label you repeatedly throw around is that of misanthropy. When it is those that love freedom who have an optimistic view of their fellow man, and it is the control freaks such as yourself, shag doody, zahlooney bamboozle and suzi who have a low loathing opinion of their fellow man. So low is your opinion of your fellow man that he cannot be trusted with his own life, he needs to be forced into line, shaped, prodded, threatened to act according to the dream feelings of the control freaks, the special people who somehow have an overpowering qualification for being busybodies.

Those are the misanthropes.

You are the misanthrope kev bamboozle.

No I'm suggesting that puerile generalisations are exactly that, puerile generalisations.

suzi thinks it's poetry, and a lot of what suzi is can be deduced from that.
You don't know me, and frankly, that's your loss.

Your homework is to describe Holland in one word.

Tulip? Windmill? Gouda?

All trite cliches, but you know what is being talked about, don't you?

No. Just because you don’t like a bit of poetry, is not enough said.

It’s like me suggesting that Lord of the Rings sucks… just because.

It’s just your opinion. And therefore, it’s enough to say that it’s not your taste.

Your dramatic explosion is nothing more than you coming into mother’s knickers,
And that’s why we all comprehend that all you say doesn’t figure.

We know each other from what is posted here, that you're entertained by a childs poem allows us to make judgements about what you are. Your constant screed of cliché one liners, cut and pastes and prompt departure from discussions when challenged also helps us build a picture of what you are.

Over weight.

haha, shag doody can at least set things right here, do the dutch clump about in wooden shoes?

In some rural communities, yes.
And it’s a national icon (like Delft blue).

So, when you go to a Dutch tourist shop, you’ll find a load of things windmilly, cloggy, Tulippy and bluey.

Wow. Thanks for verifying why I don't give anything you write much credence. Your judgement is as stilted as it gets.

Nice, the word that sums up the Dutch is a cliche' tourist trinket.

suzi ate it up though.

Seriously? You’re not getting that as the clog is synonymous with Holland the gun is synonymous with the US?
It’s a simple assertion made using a simple poetic vehicle. We know it’s the assertion that you’re at odds with but attacking the vehicle won’t damage the assertion.
Another word for ‘simple’ is ‘elegant’ and the poem is elegant in its simplicity wether you like the assertion or not.
