Defunding USAID is not about reducing the deficit. It is about shutting down Left-wing Propaganda. You don't even have to read this wonderful article. Just gloss over it and you will see the REAL picture. I started to 'paste' a few paragraphs but they are all too perfect. The article goes into depth, it goes BEYOND lgbtq jobs in Serbia,, transgender Opera in Columbia, meals for al-quida terrorists in Syria . $20M for sesame street in Iraq, pottery in Morroco.

The fact that Democrats are howling about this is an admission, on their part, that they don’t think a Republican administration should be allowed to control the administrative bureaucracy. They think that belongs to them and their pet NGOs and activists, who have been using it to wage psychological warfare on the entire world for decades. That ends now, and if it means the women making ponchos in the Guatemalan highlands will have to find another source of funding, or the transgender comic books don’t ever get made, then so be it.
Republicans control Congress. Republicans allocate funding to USAID. They all voted for it.
Democrats are not howling about "psychological warfare" whatever that means. Democrats are the minority party. Democrats are asking their republican colleagues in the senate why they even show up for work anymore. If executive branch authority overrides budget allocations then Congress is meaningless.
Congress establishes and funds USAID? Elon musk: eh, nah
