Reagan created the homeless by closing the state hospitals. Then later the half-way houses closed so that landlords could make money on Section 8 reimbursements from gummint. 😆

There is no "charity" in the Republican mind. If they see a poor person they ask, "how can I make money off this?" not "how can I help them?"

Part of our socialist program, once we take power again, will be to seize (under eminent domain) some of the 16 million American homes that sit empty and move the 650,000 homeless into them. Boom. Problem solved. 😆

Biden and congress gave 90% of the covid relief to the wealthy and created inflation to pay for it which hurts the poor disproportionately. Biden waged class warfare on the poor and screwed them over big time. Inflation itself is class warfare. The rich own stocks and assets which are inflation proof investments.

After creating inflation the FRS fight it by raising interest rates. The perfect excuse to screw people over again all the while pretending they didn't increase the money supply to create that inflation. It is a scam. They do it over and over again too because you and your buddies never notice.

Currently, it's not even to the middle of February, we're at $1.8 TRILLION in spending already.

The Department of Defense will spend more than the entire USAID budget but you'll never know what they wasted it on, because its "top secret".

Picking around the edges while more and more spending goes out the back door is not even coming close to solving the problem. Did you hear Trump wants to "invest" $100 billion tax dollars by giving it to the tech bros who funded his campaign so they can build data centers in the midwest? You're talking about a $20,000 comic book?

But this is probably the stupidest way to fix the problem. As @wildgrass said, you waste endless time trying to nickel and dime things.

Spending of 7T needs to be cut by 2T. So, pass a budget that cuts every program by 28%.

Sure sure there's different opinions on what's useful government spending. The decisions where tax dollars are spent should not be made by whoever donates the most money to a presidents campaign.
