Oh, I don't know -- perhaps because it leads to the ruination of families? Or it could be that organized crime is always associated with it. Or in America, where the Native Americans have set up casinos, they aren't content to count their boodle; instead, they use it to influence candidates and the outcomes of U.S. elections.

You really are a fool! Welfare states are rarely if ever generous enough to discourage people from doing work so that the whole system collaspes.
It is fools like you who believe in the 'welfare state' system who will never be able to finance it themselves since they lack the talent to create wealth. Meanwhile those who have such ability decline to excercise it merely to support a defective system. Result; bankruptcy as the man says.

Those with ability use it, given the opportunity to. They may want something for it mind- such as money- money is about status. The trick is convenicing everyone that they want to work to the best of teir ability for more than merely selfish reason. Welfare states on't led to bankruptcy- but the country with one of the biggest if not the biggest defdict is the american government- which is one of the least pro welfare governments around. By contrast, scandinavian countries are doing pretty well.

First of all the "death: tax is a double tax because it is the government taxing money that has already been taxed. So basically the government is double dipping. Secondly, as a parent, I feel I should have every right to leave my hard earned money to my children if I so choose.
The idea that I should be able to give my already taxed money to my kids seems so self-evident. But the world is full of people who despise freedom.
