What does "wokeism" have to with anything? CRT is merely teaching history.

Do you prefer children being taught some invisible guy in the sky Harry-Pottered everything into existence over evolution being taught? That's what your words are promoting.
When I was schooled, we certainly were taught slavery in America.

Today's black children of the woke are being taught to hate white people, and the white children are being taught to hate themselves,

From the great state that brought us Kirsten Senema comes a school voucher law, signed by Arizona's Republican governor, that allows parents to opt out of "any public school that fails to educate their children or reflect their values."

In case you can't ...[text shortened]... -require-college-degrees/

No college degree needed to be a teacher in Arizona. Let that sink in.
Does this mean you can opt out of schools that teach creationism and other retarded nonsense, might be a double edged sword for them.

wokeism is exactly the problem…bringing all these crazies out.

In principle, yes, but the practical reality will be different, and that is what Republicans are counting on. There will be a lot of home schooling going on. Because parents, especially working parents, are not up to investing the time required, they will purchase boxed home schooling programmes, of which there are many available (just google it). I’ll give you one guess who floods the market with boxed home schooling programmes: Evangelical ‘institutes’. I know. I home schooled a special needs child; had trouble actually finding a reality-based non-ideological programne.

A state which does not invest in teachers has squandered its own future. This will have dire repercussions for generations to come. Educated people will leave and no amount of pay rises will lure them back. If I were very cynical, I would say that AZ Rep. lawmakers were actually planning on having a made-stupid population to rule over because they know damn well that educated people tend to vote Dem. But no, Rep. lawmakers are not actually smart enough to plan that far ahead.

Giving public education dollars to parents as private school tuition vouchers to educate their children in the way that's best for their families and values is the greatest idea ever and should be the go-to model for primary and secondary education (as it already is for post-secondary education to the extent of Pell grants).

It’s hard to maintain standards that way. It leads to segments of the population living in a false reality, believing that the universe was created in six days about 6,000 yrs ago and that humans and dinosaurs cohabited. This is not good.

That's like saying WWII shouldn't be taught in German schools because it teaches German kids to hate themselves.

All that is being taught in CRT are facts and history.

I think your right all they want is forever power in their home state and of courses the two seats in the senate to push or defend their agenda at a federal level.
It’s the smart play I suppose and I think the anti abortion laws with have the same effect what self respecting woman with a functioning brain would stay in a state that treated her like a baby carrying chattel.

All that is being taught in CRT is facts.
In Germany they don't have the kids identity as Nazi descended and Jewish descended like CRT does with that "Privileged Oppressor" and "Victim" crap.

CRT just continues the "forever the victim with an excuse for failure" ideology.
CRT hurts blacks more than it hurts whites so keep it up. 😏

The problem is there is no requirement for these parents to choose schools that provide standardized curriculums. Parents can choose schools that teach "Jesus did it" instead of science.

If these vouchers allowed parents to choose schools that follow nationally standardized education, then it wouldn't be a problem. This isn't the case with Arizona's vouchers.

Yep. Leftists will wail as always at losing control of people, but this is great news.
