Tips:

* no travel by air (most eneryg intensive way to go to holiday
* no more cruises
* eat less meat (much less)
* Use public trabnsport as often as possible (and of course enlarge the opportunity to use public transport.
* Stop the use of one-way articles as much as possible (hygiene is an exception as is mediacal applications)
* tax energy use, trash and raw ...[text shortened]... ives an incentive to fabricated goods for prolongued use, which can be repaied)

Just for starters
Excellent observations
More government incentives for solar/wind power/wave power
Immediate, as is possible,
switch to bio-fuels and electric/hydrogen automobiles.
Move freight by rail, as much as possible.

I'm new at this, but I believe that together we can all grab the tiller of this benighted planet and set it on a better course toward a lovelier and more beneficial horizon.
My solution is to pull the plug out of the internet.

Now tell Russia and China that, as well as the other Eastern Europe and Asian countries, not to mention Africa.
The USA is way ahead of all the others, has been since the 60's as far as trying to stop pollution, and China is the worst polluter of all.
Tell THEM that.

WRONG.........
.......China is the worlds largest carbon footprint--30%
The USA is second at --14%
India is a distant third---7%
China has roughly 4 1/3 the population of The U.S.
Americans are, by far, the biggest carbon producers per capita.
China has enacted some aggressive climate control laws.

Oh I'm sorry, China only puts out twice what the US does.
Russia isn't even on the list?

That's right, with over 4 times the population of
The United States, they only produce about twice the carbon footprint.
Ya gotta' check THE LINK....As anyone can see,
Russia checks in at 4.65%

Use less electricity (surf the internet one hour per day, maximum, otherwise turn off your router and computer).

That's because Europe listened to the conservationists and tree-huggers, not the coal-focused capitalists, and started to invest in alternative sources of energy. Yet another win for the lefties!
Germany has nearly (top 5) the most expensive power in the world. Not something to brag about.

Use less electricity. Yes everyone do what they want to, but all I care about is the government not telling us to use less electricity . Thank you for your time.

Al Gore’s energy use far surpasses that of Germany. Don’t you liberals just hate Al Gore. ?
