@divegeester Biden should immediately step down. If he doesn't, Trump will win. Biden's legacy will be one of shame; The president who put his ego before country and thereby ushered in an the age of dictatorship in the U.S. The good he achieved will be canceled and forgotten. As soon as he steps down, a primary period needs to be established where up to half a dozen willing ...[text shortened]... ected Republicans, the South, and centrist Democrats. I am a pragmatic liberal/progressive Democrat.
if i hear one more "let's pick this republican lite as the democratic candidate i am gonna lose it."

everyone fears Biden can't get enough of the young vote and the lefties and you want to pick Joe Manchin, someone who definitely won't get the young vote and the lefties.

i like your posts but this one is a blunder of colossal proportions

It is difficult to read a person with such ideas as yours. So I drink instead. Basil Hayden.......

This suggestion is preposterous.
It is always interesting to take such comments from you libs,,,,,as you try your best to support Biden....., and put the name Trump in place of the name Biden.

Ha, ha, start with Biden's first day and night hiding in the Basement!!! What a man. What a man to meet with world leaders. And Sonhouse does not want Trump to be free to fire losers, be they generals or whatever. And Shouse does not like a person to speak his mind!!! A person respoinsilbe for 330M people. Is it mean spiiiiiiirrrited!?!? Offend someone? Has Biden ever fired anybody? Hmmm, not much of a manager.

As much as I would like to see Biden hang in there and run for a second term I don't believe it will happen. The Democrat leadership should go into full nightmare mode and fully support a Harris/Clinton ticket. And to be perfectly clear I mean Hillary Clinton... not Bill.

Yeah....but 'WHO', in the deep-set sense of the word, is she? Does she run things?

I agree.
And it’s not only the debate. It’s a whole series of “blunders”. Too much is being asked of a decent man of his age. Especially when up against a narcissist like trump.

The democrats need to get their act together. It is an important election for the US. All they need is a witty speaker, to punish trump at every oppertunity. Make his lies stick to him.

I mean, if Jon Stewart, Jonathan Pie, Ian Hislop and John Bercow can do it, I’m pretty sure there are democrat politicians who could easily tackle the meglomaniac.
Aren’t they all ivy league schooled??? Surely they have fvcking debating societies!

That’s exactly my point. The three comedians are sharper, wittier and more knowledgable than most lf the cirrent politicians. They’re exactly what politics need: people who can analyse, improvise and make a point.

That man is chairman genius.
And since leaving the role, he is very analytical in a very pleasing way.

But, as a chairman, Jesus. That was as good as it gets.

His party is asking him to step down? Why? Is he ill? What has happened?
