Biden is right on Afghanistan

"Over our country’s 20 years at war in Afghanistan, America has sent its finest young men and women, invested nearly $1 trillion dollars, trained over 300,000 Afghan soldiers and police, equipped them with state-of-the-art military equipment, and maintained their air force as part of the longest war in U.S. history. One more year, or five more years, of U.S. military presence would not have made a difference if the Afghan military cannot or will not hold its own country. And an endless American presence in the middle of another country’s civil conflict was not acceptable to me."

I am happy for shutting the conflict down, its the callus way biden is doing it. Just abandoning our people and Afghans that were on our side. He actually “asked” for Kabul to be spared…are you kidding me, Trump used force, the only thing these jihadist understand.

No, my statement is a good guideline. The headline of a newspaper article is usually written by an editor rather than the writer of the piece and often misstates the material in the piece, often for sensationalist purposes. Since I can't read the article from your cite because of the NYT's paywall but I can read President Biden's statement warning the Taliban that attacks ...[text shortened]... adline is misleading; there's "negotiating" not "asking"(which you seem to interpret as "begging" ).
