It looks like just another attempt to cram a woman President down our throats in a sneaky ploy.
Newsom is not a prize candidate either. If he can’t tame the wealthy in CA who are causing all this homelessness and imprisonment he won’t be able to do it as President.

I doubt he adds anything to the ticket politically whereas if Harris picks Shapiro or Whitmer she virtually locks up one of the three most critical States.
