DOGE is an advisory panel and nothing more. They cannot pass laws. Musk cannot do anything without the vote of congress and congress does not have to follow Musk's advice.

People have made DOGE to be more than it is. I can advise you to brush your teeth before and after you floss your teeth, but I have no power to make you follow my advice. Same with DOGE. No power to do anything but advise.
That's technically true, but Musk is also the richest man in the world, has virtually unlimited resources to reward politicians who cave to his wishes and has been given a virtual carte blanche by our soon to be felon President.

Pretending his recommendations will be no more influential than the FDA's nutritional ones shows self-delusion or extreme naivety.

? No no no. I asked if he committed a crime in his capacity as president.
What's the difference? The SCOTUS says any President can and cannot be prosecuted for it.

How many times do you have to be shown that Biden didn't "open the border"? Apprehensions at the border were at an almost record pace and millions were removed.

I know right wing propaganda outlets and politicians keep parroting that line, but stop being a sheep and look at the facts rather than just believing what you are told.
You silly goose. Looks like I won’t miss much on the forum today while I’m playing golf… With Posts such as this.

You should google, Well, let’s just say that you will find 100 times more links about his opening the border then you will from nincompoops who say he had nothing to do with the 12 million people that came over into our country. Illegal alien invaders. Killers, rapists you name it, while he lounge on the beach.. Moreover, you don’t really care about it, let them come. You and Biden are peas. In a pod!

Uhhhhh, did you just say technically true?? Haha even Sunhouse is scratching his head on that one. Oh well, I am off to play golf while you delve into the dictionary.

No, you have merely pointed out that DOGE is a lot like a lobby group.
Make your case against lobbying and we can have an honest debate about it.

@AverageJoe1
To summarize the morning, chat the question was has Trump committed a crime in his capacity as president. Above, marauder says what’s the difference he couldn’t be prosecuted anyway or some such stuff. It’s a silly response. It would take a little gleaning to understand, but he would not answer the question. That summarizes our morning session.

If this keeps up, we will have a hard time distinguishing marauder from Susie Ann.

This explanation flies right in the face of marauders quasi reasoning. It is not convenient. The main Takeaway is that we know that he knows exactly what it is, but he wants to play word games all the time..
These libs are really upset.
Did you notice over these four years that they never found one thing about Biden that was irregular or questionable or they did not agree with? Not one thing with all the crime. Unbelievable
Biden warned us about the oligarchy he has been serving. Warned that democracy was at risk because of it as if we have not lost it already. He certainly served the big pharma oligarchy. Mandated vaccination that does not stop the spread. He insulted our intelligence.

Makes you wonder if Eisenhower didn't warn us about the military complex because he went along with it in much the same way.

I don't know.

Google more right wing propaganda from House Republicans? No thanks.

There was a predictable spike in border crossings after the pandemic, but the border was never "open" as you keep stupidly claiming.

It's not going to be a "lobbying group"; it's going to be part of the government it's supposed to "reform".

Trump was indicted for crimes committed while he was President The SCOTUS says he can't be prosecuted for them. That doesn't mean he didn't commit them.

Yes, part of the govt that is going to reform.

Uhhh, you realize that you simply parrot what Trump said.

Whew. Maybe we ARE whipping you dependents into shape.
