@no1marauder saidYou seem to have a problem with transparency. Musk could simply lobby Trump in secret like everyone else that contributed to his campaign like Soros did with Biden. Instead they did it out in the open. Is that so bad?
I don't recall Bill Gates being put in charge of a government agency by a President he spent $250 million to get elected so this is just another of your seemingly endless false whataboutisms.
You are just being the typical partisan creature you are. Trump donors bad, Biden donors good. Can you bring yourself to say anything negative about Soros? Was Biden right that oligarchy is a threat to democracy? If so, who is the oligarchy he spoke of? Eisenhower at least was specific when he warned against the military industrial complex. Who are these oligarchs he spoke of? Big pharma?
Biden will not name the oligarchs specifically because he knows he was a tool of big pharma when he mandated the gene vaccines when herd immunity was impossible. That is why he will NEVER be specific. He thinks you are stupid.
@Metal-Brain saidIf you can't see the difference between lobbying the government and being the government, then you are stupid.

@no1marauder saidNumber one Biden has no right to use my money, as a taxpayer, to pay off the debts of other people… People that he has handpicked, at the expense of less fortunate people who really need the money. If you will google this, you will find that 30% of these students spent their money on travel and 20% on dining out look it up.
Let's try to make this simple for you:
Your brother borrows $50 from you and promises to pay it back in March.
He loses his job and you see "Cleetus, I know you're having hard times; you don't need to pay the $50 back."
Query: How much did you spend in March by forgiving his debt?
Marauder, you have succeeded, avoiding, the seminal subject matter , off into oblivion about the law and silly suggestions as above, “How much did you spend in March by Forgiving his debt” . You wrote this quizzical statement, I would like for Suzanne to explain what it means. I sure don’t.know.
Then take away all this voluminous combat, and answer me. This simple question.
If we all live on that island of mine, 1000 people, and there is a constitution exactly like ours, would it be right for the town council leader to take money out of the treasury? On his own, on Thursday morning at 10:15, and pay off the loans of certain people that have borrowed money?
This pretty much nailed it. You will not answer this question, you will start writing about Trump or maple trees, or the law, or natural law, or natural rights. I just want to see if you can answer such a simple question? There is only one answer, so you are about to deflect like crazy.

Why do you fellers rail on about Musk maybe being Oligarchy, and never mention Soros, who IS Ologarchy?
Sonhouse...... Biden, dead man walking, gives Soros a medal? All of you think he deserves a medal. An Oligarch!
But you, Sonhouse, are upset with us liking Trump when he brings on Musk to straighten Biden's mess out.
I am so confused, can you do us a primer on that? And you dont have to pull out your works on Trump.
@AverageJoe1 saidCan you answer the question? Apparently not.

@no1marauder saidOh really? Lets say that Suzi has a sister who is living hand to mouth with 3 kids, husband abandoned her.
I'm sorry you're too stupid to understand my posts, but that's your problem not mine.
She lives in a town that operates its government exactly like that of the United States of America. The only difference is that, in place of President, the town has a Mayor, who has the basic duties and powers of a USA president. I hope you get this up to now.
Now, the Mayor's wife is a schoolteacher and tells him at breakfast that it would be nice if the Mayor would use some of the town treasury to pay off the various loans of citizens' children who borrowed money for college. The Mayor knows Suzi's family, and has been made award of the perilous life of Suzi's sister.
i can't wait till you weigh in on this one. Then we can determine a winner and get ready for tomorrow. I have never said 'I cant't wait for Monday ' before.
Edit: As a total aside, I saw the word '"Championship" at a football affair......If you had your way, Marauder........Yu have said that there should be no medals for achievement, feel free to define it any way you want to. No trophies, no whatever for winning. So do you think the word Championship should be relegated to the trash?
Two questions on the table to be resolved, then on to the New Beginnings. What NASTY people you tried to stick us with!!

@AverageJoe1 saidWhy do you keep ignoring the fact that student loan forgiveness is authorized by statute? I've explained this to you dozens of times usually with citations to the relevant law.

Any and all hypotheticals you construct which completely ignore this fact are just part of your delusional gullibility. Besides the fact these loans are owed to the government itself another fact you can't get through your thick skull.

@AverageJoe1 saidNo, I said no such thing you idiot. I said the Presidential Medal of Freedom was a meaningless trinket and should be abolished. Somehow you got it into your empty head that I was calling for the abolishment of every award that marks an actual achievement rather than one handed out on a political whim That's simply more BS from you

@no1marauder saidPlease assume, for purposes of this premise, that you know nothing of statutes, nor even the law of the town. You read in the paper that Mayor s giong to pay off the loans. That is all everyone knows. You meet at the church, with your own cncerns, and he does this!?!!?

@AverageJoe1 saidWell maybe you should ask IF it's authorized by the law.

Maybe if the Mayor promised to do so if he was elected and the People voted him in that might be relevant.
Maybe a bunch of other things you wish to ignore.
@no1marauder saidI don't study the 'law' part of this ,I am a common sense guy, and ask how you can sah it is OK for Biden to 'select' soon-to-be successful people to relieve of their loan obligations. You know that that is wrong on its face and yet you want to continue to bicker with your weak side. You keep bringing up extraneous stuff about the statute in the law and the court and such. If you lived in a town where they took the treasury money.and paid the loans, you would say that that is not right.

I will use this gambit if someone drops a real brain teaser in my lap.....they will have me up against a wall, and I will say...."Yeah, but what i the subject money had been STOLEN!???!??"
