Yes. The shooting of that youth did seem a little suspect.

If I was a hypocrite, I'd whine about all the big problems facing the UK.

But I'm American and can admit that I have zero room to talk.

You might want wipe the drool of your chin dive, honestly mate a Brit slagging off someone else’s policing issues is the wrong side of ludicrous.
Have you forgotten about our rapey, racist corrupt police and the riots that their actions and attitudes have caused.

The French are very good at rioting and protesting.

They make the rest of us look lazy.

Police in France have the legal ability to shoot suspects escaping in vehicles. The belief is that such people present a public danger. The French protestors believe the cop's action may have been motivated by racism rather than concern for public safety.

Regardless of the cop's motives it may be a good idea to reevaluate this law that allows cops to shoot fleeing suspects.

Not sure of the details with this, but if you're threatening people with a gun or a car you've forfeited your right to life. It has to be case by case obviously, if the guy was on a bicycle there'd be more wiggle room but even then, a skateboard could be a potentially lethal weapon. Let the details filter out before looting a gucci hand bag.

This is not a protest.

I know they pretty much invented it as far as western modern history goes, but this one follows the usual pattern in many western countries.
Justifiably perceived racism by the police and legal system going on for years then all you need is a spark, and the shooting of a 17yr old is a definitive spark.
