Another revisionist historian. No coup. Ukrainians prosecuting crimes against Ukraine.

The man was a scumbag. Much like Trump. And your websites backing him.

Wikipedia states:

Yanukovych was a member of the pro-Russian Party of Regions. Before entering national politics, Yanukovych was the Governor of his native Donetsk Oblast from 1997 to 2002. He was simultane ...[text shortened]... has also given his name to a collective term for blunders made by Ukrainian politicians: Yanukisms.
Metal addled brain just keeps puking out Russian propaganda, that seems to be his job.

Truth be damned, as well.

All political power ultimately rests with the people. 😆

Yanukovich was elected, but ultimately Ukrainians did not approve of his actions and change of direction towards Russia. So they protested and Yanukovich left the country on 21 Feb 2014. Ukrainians subsequently elected Poroshenko and then Zelenksyy.

Russia has never had any business interfering in the affairs ...[text shortened]... ocratic rights, and certainly never had any justification for taking Ukrainian territory.

None. 😆
"All political power ultimately rests with the people."

That explains Trump being president then.

@Kewpie thanks so much. Many decades ago, in another century, I considered immigrating to Australia. Have yet to visit.

Further, we can assume Musk is PAYING (spending money) to hire the Musk DOGE Team to find billions of dollars. He is spending money to make money in a different way , same concept.
Guess again. DOGE is being fully funded by taxpayer money.

While Elon Musk and his underlings demand budget cuts and layoffs across the federal government, funding for their agency — the Department of Government Efficiency — has soared to nearly $40 million, ProPublica found in a review of Office of Management and Budget records.

And because DOGE is funded by taxpayer dollars, it is subject to Freedom of Information Act requests made by journalists and other interested parties for an accounting of its activities. This is being refused, illegally, by Musk and his unqualified gang of hackers and hucksters.

https://www.propublica.org/article/doge-trump-musk-funding-foia-congress-transparency

The use of the Economy Act would seem to subject DOGE to the same open-records laws that cover most federal agencies, such as the Environmental Protection Agency or the State Department. However, DOGE has refused to respond to Freedom of Information Act requests, saying it operates with executive privileges. Musk has also flip-flopped about whether DOGE’s staff members are paid. Initially he said they were not, but earlier this week he said some of them were.

The lies, deception, and illegal activity now practiced by the entire executive branch are a gish-gallop of criminality being perpetrated for the express purpose (Project 2025 architects are on record for saying this) of literally crippling the government before courts, other democratic institutions, and popular opposition can react.

Mostly likely, the idea is to precipitate a popular uprising that can be crushed militarily, allowing for the declaration of martial law and the cancellation of scheduled elections. My feeling is that, if this is indeed the plan, it will fail simply for underestimating the size and ferocity of the opposition that is coalescing, which will bring most of the military's rank-and-file to its side.

But time will tell. The courts and other surviving democratic institutions may yet put an end to the administration before its comes to open warfare in the streets.

Slanthead, obviously I did not imply Musk was paying out of pocket. These Lieutenants doing the DOGE work are being paid as would be any govt employees. We conservatives love good government employees.

Lost you. 4 net employees, pay them .$265/day each, great employees, company trip to fish Cobia in the Panhandle, solid car wash business. And, That is just the one on Airport Rd.

What you mad at? Is my scenario quite believable ? Of course it is. So, if it is not true, it does not change the concept, now, does it? Paying good workers a good wage to work at a business that you have started, giving them a place for employment so they can raise their families.

What you mad at? Why are y’all mad at musk?!?!? Even MSNBC admits Trump is winning. We pitiful (?) repubs do not know what y’all are upset about.
