Yes got it early, and a good play when it dipped about a year ago. I think that it will def be the future, think about how archaic paper moneu is already becoming....(Imagine if we were changing dollars to lire now when we run over to Italy....archaic indeed). So, out with the old in with the new, change is part of life. If people can change their sex on a whim, as does
everything else every day that we hear the news, it is only natural that bitcoin will not be 'new' anymore, it is here to stay. Consider how easy it will be. Maybe AI will run it!
And, it will only go up. Query, why would it go down? It is a Buy. Cant predict price, but if it is 44k now, it will get to 60 and beyond soon enough to get that little cabin on Walden Pond!

What do you do when quantum computers bust the bottom out of bitcoin? The whole idea seems more like a ponzie scheme to me.

What then will take the place of paper money, currency? do you think we will still be using it?

There is a supply shock coupled with a demand shock about to happen. The price of Bitcoin is about to explode! Get in now while you it’s still cheap.

You have no idea what you are talking about. You are just repeating a false rumor you heard that you know very little about.

We pay by electronic cards or by swiping our phones, mainly now.
Hardly have any cash on me anymore.

As for Bitcoin… dunno. Sounds like gambling and a pyramid scheme to me.
It used up a hell of a lot of computer power for something that only exists in the digital world. And, as someone else already said, when quantum computers (or some such like) pop by, the whole inflation of bitcoin will wash away.

You have no idea what you are talking about. I don't blame you for suspecting that because long ago I did the same thing, but unlike me you have not done the necessary research to know for sure. Do you seriously think the nation of El Salvador was duped into a scam? Russia too?

Next time someone asks you if bitcoin is a scam tell them you do not know. You know from recent experience that "I do not know" is the safest answer, don't you?

Maybe it will be now:

Paper money has already been replaced by contactless payments but keep it to yourself
Bitcoin has proven a bottomless pit for money from which only the lucky and the criminals and rogue regimes profit
Apparently useful for pedos and drug cartels / pushers though

Justin Trudeau pretty much ruined it for me.

I don't use paper much anymore. Debit card, credit card, I MIGHT have 5 bucks cash on me right now.

An obvious trajectory, make it easy to use the card, then make it hard to use cash, then start pushing the party line i.e. anyone that doesn't want to bend over and get rammed by the state must be a criminal. Then cash disappears, and if you say something bad about the goobermint hullooooo account frozen, dissenting voices begin to disappear.

Already happened in Canada.
