Can someone tell us the end game of this? What do they want? They were chanting "We Dont Want You Here". What does that even mean? Will folks ever come back to NYC when they see this on the news?
This is just a small example, the bigger question is ...What does the BLM movement want to accomplish and what do they think their timeline is? What is the big goal of BLM....other than hackling diners having their salad, minding their own business. Marauder told me just yesterday that the Floyd Family millions is none of my business, which is correct. So are the diners' activities the business of the hecklers????

Collateral Damage??? I have it on good authority that (one of) the owner has lamented that he lost $400 in revenues, diners (ran for their lives?), he had to close early.
So here is a fellow trying to make it back with his chosen profession in light of the pandemic closings, and the BLM effectively closes him down? They close him down? Is anyone listening here? There already is a large exodus from the state of New York, and NYC in particular, due to very high taxes recently implemented.
So for the "right now", the street folk can survive fairly nicely. But wait until the cash runs dry,
as it eventually will in such cases, because the people exiting the state are the rich people that want a little peace.

Certainly, if Mayor de Blasio keeps tolerating this - which is likely as his daughter is an activist - we will potentially see the spikes in crime that correlate with lax policing and the affirmation of BLM narratives, and plus... more of these crazy protests.
The city really could become a dumpster as it was in the seventies.
