The books banned in Florida goes WAY beyond that directly into banning books about past racial issues and the suppression and lynch mobs. That is a POLITICAL banning and sexual theme bans are bad also, no getting around that.

Elementary and High Schools removing books because of inappropriate sexual content does not constitute nationwide "banning'. You can still buy them if you want.
If the GOVERNMENT removes all of a certain book and bans its sale and distribution, THAT is "banning."
Let us know when they do that.
