You missed my primer on Bankruptcy? Bankruptcy is a great tool which allows your cousins to recover a lot of that which is owed to them by the Trump corporations. (Golly, he made a bad business decision, out of hundreds of business decisions).
Were it not for bankruptcy, restructuring, whatever, the corp would just shut down and the employees and vendors and suppl ...[text shortened]... is actually a good thing. Ohhhh, the misinformation on the forum............
Glad to help 😏
If Trump had managed those businesses better, he wouldn’t have needed bankruptcy proceedings to rescue the ruins he left behind.

Until last year I taught economics, but why get personal, MGH? If my 15 year old tells you what I told you, or I tell you what I told you, it is a fact, and my personal self is quite irrelevant.
The libs are out in force this morning !!!!
they are bored, long time till the first of the month and the checks start rolling in

Interesting, please elaborate. A level discussion must assume, however, a society of charity, where the needy or folks who need a leg up are counseled by those who have had successes in their lives.
What a great society that would be. No need for big brother govt or nanny state. Freedom, Independence.
Yes, that, exactly that. In your twisted mind, ensuring the well-being of those with whom you share a community is immediately equated with socialism, handouts, the nanny state. It never occurs to you that someone else might gain something but not at your expense, so you are on full-time red alert in case anyone gains something.

That's terrifying, given how deeply you misunderstand basic tax laws.

You have missed my 100 posts that govt should have A program to fully support the 40M destitute in the USA. (Citizens).
Assuming that you agree with that, that we are in agreement, what do you think should be done beyond that, and we can have a nice discussion. We don’t have to mention nanny state or Socialism or handouts in such a discussion.
What say you?

Absolutely, you speak the obvious. Each of his 100 businesses are in diff states, have diff staff, different customers, many daily decisions. Like me, when Zillow changed their real estate investments, it opened an opportunity for Opendoor.com to fill that gap. So, I bought Open, banking on that happening. Nothing happened, I actually lost money on the short term. Ole AvJoe! So, Trump, same thing. You win a few, lose a few. Do you think he should have had no losses? who the hell has an operation like that??!!
Maybe 89% of his businesses turned a profit. I would call him a winner. Sorry about bankruptcies, the world is imperfect. Libs want it perfect Utopia. Nirvanna. Flowing ponds, everyone equal. Why are you down on an imperfect businessman. So you think me the fool for investing in Open.com!!?!? Say it aint so! 😞

Me too! I'd forgotten about that.
This seems to be where a lot of Republicans get their anti-social tendencies.

It is boring the way you fellers say Trump was bad, like it is a fact, like the sky is blue.
Moon, if that were the case, 50% of our country would not think he was a good president. So either you libs are wrong, or they are wrong.
You could be useful if you can prove that he was bad.
Over 50% voted him out of office, so I don't see what meds you're taking here to believe what you said.

It might be a good thing for Republicans who never meant to actually pay the debts they accrue.

As usual, you refuse to factor in plain old greed.

That's the turd in the oatmeal.

This post does not get even close to a response to my saying 50%, or 49% of the country thinks he was and would be again, a good president. Why can you, a typical lib, not even acknowledge something so simple?

Note: My comment is an established fact. Yours is an opinion. Whew.
I can see why you guys are against everyone getting a good education.

You live on the stupidity of your voters.

You also ignore the working poor, who are mostly uneducated and would benefit from a solid education. And the single parents, working their fingers to the bone to provide for their kids.

You don't think anyone should get help until they're on their deathbed. You don't need to be destitute to need help. And yes, that help *should* come from those who have more, but you'd rather kick them in the face and prevent them from getting ahead, so you are the ones insisting that government get involved. Have you read the Preamble to our Constitution lately?

This is borderline obscene.

I find that very difficult to believe. You also said you've been working at McDonalds. Are you going to be one of these guy's like Steven Segal who gives different people different versions of his life, depending on who their talking to? πŸ™„

I would say to that Pitiful handy Andy a while back, let’s say I work at McDonald’s and make $15. Instead of responding back about the $15, he will write back and say you don’t work at McDonald’s. I sure don’t miss Handy/ Andy. Now you seem to be picking up his slack.
You are not that daft, so I guess you are trolling average Joe one more time
