Absolutely, you speak the obvious. Each of his 100 businesses are in diff states, have diff staff, different customers, many daily decisions. Like me, when Zillow changed their real estate investments, it opened an opportunity for Opendoor.com to fill that gap. So, I bought Open, banking on that happening. Nothing happened, I actually lost money on the short term. Ole A ...[text shortened]... mperfect businessman. So you think me the fool for investing in Open.com!!?!? Say it aint so! 😞
Here is a summary of Trump‘s economic performance;

It does not support his or your contention that Trump is an excellent businessmsn with just a few losses.

I quote from the above article:” During 1990 and 1991, … Trump’s losses were so large that they “were more than double those of the nearest taxpayers in the I.R.S. information for those years.””

He’s a repeated loser who managed to bluff the banks into lending him more and more money.
Deutsche Bank finally got wise to him and cut their lossres. He owes them something like 300 mio, and they’ll be lucky to recover any of it.

I would say to that Pitiful handy Andy a while back, let’s say I work at McDonald’s and make $15. Instead of responding back about the $15, he will write back and say you don’t work at McDonald’s. I sure don’t miss Handy/ Andy. Now you seem to be picking up his slack.
You are not that daft, so I guess you are trolling average Joe one more time
You are not that daft, so I guess you are trolling average Joe one more time.

Look at this from the other side (whoever you are) Average Joe's posts here were previously a seemingly endless parade of misspelled words, horrible sentence structure, and retarded vocabulary - up until about a week ago. Now remarkably, everything has improved. You're clearly not the original person on this account, so why don't you stop the charade and tell us who you really are?

You have missed my 100 posts that govt should have A program to fully support the 40M destitute in the USA. (Citizens).
Assuming that you agree with that, that we are in agreement, what do you think should be done beyond that, and we can have a nice discussion. We don’t have to mention nanny state or Socialism or handouts in such a discussion.
What say you?
Convince me you have the slightest idea what “well-being” means, and we can have a discussion about it.

I’ll give you a hint: it’s not about money.

You also ignore the working poor, who are mostly uneducated and would benefit from a solid education. And the single parents, working their fingers to the bone to provide for their kids.

You don't think anyone should get help until they're on their deathbed. You don't need to be destitute to need help. And yes, that help *should* come from those who have more, but you' ...[text shortened]... ones insisting that government get involved. Have you read the Preamble to our Constitution lately?
I get you, but yall never say what to Do, except to raise taxes to feed them, while they might even have a few more children……for us to take care of. Uh, At what point is it their fault? It started when they had more children than they could afford, but I digress.
You never say how much the rich should pay. If a guy makes $5 million, I think you would probably like to take maybe 3.5 million of that money and leave him with 1.5 million. I just don’t find it realistic that a man would do that with such punitive punishment.
Instead of this confusion, why don’t you leave the rich people alone and just add these people that you think can’t take care of themselves, for some reason, to the 40 million others. So maybe we will have 45 million that we will just take care of. That way we can leave the Rich alone so they can create jobs. I think I got that right.
I want to be on the committee that decides who gets what marauder calls a safety net. If they can take care of themselves, then they need to just take care of themselves. No one is starving in this country, Suzanne. If these people don’t exercise their right to improve their job status from one step to another, what are we to do about that. They can get plenty of advice from government agencies and from their priests.
What Do you mean by greed? If a man tries to make as much money as he possibly can, does that make him a greedy person? In all such discussions, I have to assume that everyone is charitable. I’m sure you know of some people that may not be, and you might want to turn over the whole apple cart just to get after those people. Big mistake. Just like regulating Musk would be a mistake.
Regarding regulation, I have a feeling that y’all will set the idea of old-time Socialism aside and come up with some modern Socialism where you don’t really have to own everything, production etc, but will be able to control everything. More later on that.
It is laughable that you think Republicans want to hold people back, when in fact Democrats are doing their best to make people dependent on government. Creepy stuff. And certainly you know that is their goal.

But note….methinks you find NOT ONE redeeming factor. A total 100% horrible person and businessman.
This impossible position renders your post a vacant nothing. Even Hitler liked his dog.
You need to dry out, and quit hanging around that Son person

Who said well-being? In what context? Was it me?

@Suzianne here is the famous Mike Wallace interview with Ayn Rand. Many on this forum claim to be Christians. If they like Rand's philosophy of selfishness, she wrote a short volume, "The Virtue of Selfishness", they might like like to know that she was an atheist who violently opposed all religions, and especially detested Christianity. I ask those who love Ayn Rand's philosophy, what happens when pedophilia makes you happy or physically abusing others weaker than you gives you pleasure? Is that okay? Rand claimed all women deep down want to be raped by strong men. She was disgusting.

@Mott-The-Hoople no. I have been commenting in this forum for a few years and was frequently trolled by the Duchess. She's a sick puppy.

That part of, this other part of, her philosophy I’m sure is true. But a person can dislike my dog, drink too much, and maybe be a trans. But I don’t care about that, if they espouse , Capitalism , independence. Individual rights, and all of the good stuff that goes along with it. Surely you cannot take exception to that part of her philosophy. Or you can write about her bad breath.
Phranny, you conveniently overlook the good traits of her philosophy and concentrate on the atheism etc. You may be poisoning the minds of otherwise commonsense members of the forum. Since I have answered your question, would you be so kind as to take the other side of her philosophy, which is healthy, ...about personal achievements, self-reliance, the growth of individuals in our society? The idea of splitting from the pack (mob) and finding your own way?

Liberals misinterpret words like selflessness and (Suzianne’s favorite) greed.

Phranny, the word is selflessness. Not selfishness . Am I going to have to come down there?

You do realise that she was as much of a Randian as you are, don't you? Mirror sides of the same tarnished coin, you two.

Phranny please correct your post before people start thinking that Ayn Rand is (was) selfish. I would hate that .

And our loyal readers want the diff in selfishness and selflessness. They are exactly opposite. Lib clueless posts are exhaustive.
