You are just playing with words. Palestine was a province of the Ottoman Empire until they lost the war to the British in 1917, when it came under British rule or mandate. The UN passed the Partition Plan. The fact that the Palestinians did not accept the partition means nothing. It was partitioned and the Jews set up an independent state of Israel in 1948.

Most people do not know that. The partition was a *suggestion*. It was not legally binding because
the United Nations simply does not have that power

Sounds like the Partition Plan was passed and it was the Palestinians who did violated the terms and conditions of the plan. They wanted the war, and they got it.
... the Partition Plan was passed by WHO?
This partition was not LAW, it was a plan, a suggested plan, which the Palestinians rejected, as is their RIGHT

Well, they refused the Partition and wanted all the land of Palestine. There was no compromise. They then joined up with their Arab buddies next door and started the war with the Jews. They got their butts kicked, just like in all subsequent wars. So in retrospect, they made bad decisions, they were greedy bastards and they thrive on hatred. They are abject failures. Right now they get billions in aid use it to build tunnels and buy weapons. They are really foolish people, destined for the dustbin of history. Plus nobody wants them. They are a damaged people. Their kids only know how to hate and kill Jews. Poor souls.

From the Wiki page I already posted, here are the countries that accepted Israel subsequent to the partition, and its hardly just a handful.

[i]On 11 May 1949, the UN General Assembly, by the requisite two-thirds majority of its then-58 members, approved the application to admit Israel to the UN by General Assembly Resolution 273.[17][18] The vote in the General Assembly w ...[text shortened]... e terrorists and their supporters. Did they strap bombs to their chest and detonate it in school buses or pizza restaurants? How about shooting Olympic sportsmen. Maybe they hijacked a plane load of Palestinians to Entebbe airport? How about something like th Oct 7th terrorist attacks ... raping women, killing babies and kidnapping?

The Palestinians are a bunch of cowards. They run and hide among civilians and children, put their rocket launchers on schools, and mosques. Maybe you can excuse cowardise but they are just plain stupid. They very same people who supply you with water, electricity and food, you go shoot their people and rape their women.

Billions of $$$ and 75 years have passed since 1948 and they have nothing.

The Palestinians need not "compromise" and need not give their land away. WHO WOULD? That's crazy

So you really think the Palestinians and neighbors started the war??? lol, please.
In 1947 - prior to being declared the state of Israel, the three Jewish terror groups in Palestine
uprooted 800,000 Palestinians out of 403 towns and villages, and that is why the neighboring nations entered the fray.

I say "fray", but be sure, the Palestinians were not fighting, as they were defenseless. This was clearly ethnic cleansing.

The entire Land of Palestine did not belong to the local Arab population. There were many landowners, including Jews, Spanish, Chinese Europeans et, apart from Arabs. Neither was it their country. It was a British colonial territory. Go read the history. You clearly are ignorant of what transpired in those days.

At that time land was obtained by conquest. They British took it from the Ottomans so it was not a Palestinian country. It was British. The British partitioned the land and the UN approved the partition. End of story.

Palestinians did not like the partition. Tough. They wanted war. They got it. Losers .. thats all they have been for the last 75 years.

The point is, Joe, that your questioning is misleading and has nothing to do with the reality of Palestine.

It’s alt-right propaganda in a loop.
What the questioning does is try to create a set of circumstances in which Palestine is not a country (or nation, for people who wish to nitpick).

However, the basic definitions are wrong.
Countries, nations, empires and na ...[text shortened]... d on for generations and Israel is trying to evict them from it.

That is what should concern you.
Tuesday I will give you the history, you left some stuff out, and quite one-sided, as you shall see. It will be facts, you will deny it when the cock crows thrice.🐓

You will see what Israel is “trying to do”.

You've made this personal? Can you just drop it and answer the questions? How about the one about currency. What country does not even have its own f'n currency????? The ones that don't, they use.............you guessed it.....the US DOLLAR. Palestine has neither.

Why get personal, i am a propogandist or fool who comprehends naught. Whew.
Scotland does not have its own currency. Neither does Germany, the Netherlands, Vatican City, France, Belgium, Wales, Austria… and soon even bloody Argentina.

Could you explain why you keep lying and saying the Palestinians "started the war" when you have been informed numerous times and it is easily verifiable by a 10 second Google search that the Zionists had been violently warring on both their Arab neighbors in Palestine and the British troops there for years prior to 1948?

Could you please explain why you keep lying and claiming the "British partitioned " Palestine when you know this is not so? The UN General Assembly voted for a nonbinding resolution for partition, they didn't "approve" anything since they had no power to do so and the British did not propose the plan in the first place.

You've gone beyond ignorance and are now openly pedaling falsehoods. Why exactly?

That is not an issue. Indigenous Arabs did own land in that region, just like many other nationalities. What they did not have is control over that territory.
Neither did the Jews. What we call Israel is the result of an illegal land grab and ethnic cleansing
I support the existence of Israel in the geographic area that it is in but there is nothing set in stone regarding its borders as the Israelis themselves have proven time and time again. So all talk of national borders is plain stupid. If there no such nation as Palestine then by the same token there is no such nation as Israel

A State of Israel was established by the UN Partition of 1948. Prior to that it was a region or territory of the British Empire. A Palestinian State could also have been set up had the indigenous Arabs been less warlike and murderous. A viable 2-state solution was proposed by the UN and accepted by the Jews.

Borders change because of the continued violence. Under the Geneva Convention country is allowed to annex portions of nearby land if it is used as a staging point for attacking another country. There is something called the right of annexation. Gaza is about to be annexed and rightfully so. Those jokers do not know how to live in peace.
