I used to get this news letter called School of the Americas watch which said all sorts of terrible things about the U.S. training military personel to impose control over south American countries, oust any leaders they didn't like, and basically impose military rule. I never really looked into it, but if it is even remotely true then I can see why they love this guy.

How long till the US starts bleating on about rigged elections?
Any statements on this from the White House yet?

Personally, I feel that Washington and Lincoln are the 2 most important men in Americas history, but I welcome any and all wooden teeth or silly hat jokes. heck, you can even make polio jokes as long as they're directed toward FDR.
Approving insult of one President while claiming another should have some sort of blanket protection is nothing more than political hacksmanship.

And it doesn't matter if it was rigged or not, (I personally doubt it was) because it doesn't change the fact that Chavez is the President.
