Say what you want about trump I know everyone has some well-entrenched opinions.

But Cheesebro? This dude definitely committed treason. No doubt. His memos clearly state the strategy to prevent Biden from amassing 270 electoral votes even after all the states had certified and all legal challenges were resolved. There's no question whether or not he's attempting to overthrow a government. He clearly is.

If the US had any moxie left, this dude is tarred, feathered, disbarred and forced into a life of ditch digging.

Whether trump knew about it and went along with it, time will tell. The cheese has apparently agreed to cooperate with investigators.

What text? I'm not wishing for anything, get outta here. Multiple memos written by Cheese clearly laid out a 'legal' strategy to install an illegitimate president who lost an election. Sad and treasonous.

He was the mastermind.

At first, we thought it was Eastman, but emails show it came from Chesebro.

Anything to let criminals go just because they have an 'R', right?

Tell your 'bro' to flip on Trump and he might walk.

Ben Shapiro in 2014, when asked whether we should indict executive branch officials: "we've gotten comfortable with the executive branch violating our rights as citizens.... if we start treating them as criminals, maybe they'll think twice before they act so criminally in the future."

Be careful what you wish for?

This is worth a read. The cheese doctored and disseminated complete misrepresentations of legal theory and precedent. This fake news spread rapidly through trump world (which was part of the overall strategy to overthrow the government) to make it seem like they still had time to legally reverse the election outcome. However, after state certification and resolution of all court challenges, everything they did to overturn the election at that point was 100% illegal.

Uh oh. Cheesebro was at the capitol on January 6th marching with Alex Jones in his way to disrupt congress. He planned the coup, remember? Doesn't seem very professional. He seems like an activist, not a legal advisor.

If it is beyond question, why has there been not enough evidence to put him on trial?

Is the US justice system broken...

Or are you speaking quite hyperbolically?

Uhhh… he is going on trial.

Was he, or was he not, recorded demanding an extra 11.000+ votes on a telephone conversation?

Is that, or is that not, a then president attempting to influence an election result?

Is a man in an elected position of power, attempting to influence an election result, a form of undermining democratic results?

And is that not undermining democracy?

It’s not rocket science when you break it down.

I just saw his mugshot on the local news. Lol. He's being charged for multiple felonies. Obviously even the cheese deserves a fair trial, but unless the blood-soaked glove doesn't fit, he's very likely headed for prison.

Cheese is currently getting blasted in court,.while his lawyer keeps asserting that.everyone else involved in the conspiracy is a dangerous criminal except his client.

If the current president is doing something you think is bad, does that work as an argument to excuse behavior of a past president?

Maybe they both did illegal things?
