it is "could".

the oceans could rise 10 feet.
the amazon could burn down in 10 years.
the artic could disappear in 10 years
category 6 level hurricanes could begin to form in 10 years.

and so on.

the key to your clickbait headlines is the word "could" in them.

read slowly and carefully and your blood pressure won't ( but then maybe it "could" ) rise.

No doubt you are better qualified than all of the world's climate scientists.

@KazetNagorra

the word next most loved.

"all"

this is unproved unless your proof is your own list then that list is
"all"

if i go to a gay part of the community and take a poll about gay
issues i will get a gay result.

depends on what list you start from.

Don't you think it's a little arrogant to presume that, as an uneducated hick, you know more about the world's climate than some of the sharpest minds on the planet who spent decades studying it?

@KazetNagorra

"the world's sharpest minds".

an assumption based on a diploma and a job.

i think the politics of the "world's sharpest minds" have more to do with their research than facts.

if you create the software for the computer models that determine the research outcome you will get the outcome you want.

if you lie to the world as did the university in anglia you will get away with your lies for more than a decade before your emails trip you up.

and i do have a doctorate in law. i earned it by using reason and relying on facts.

i am not an uneducated hick.

Of course not. It should say hack.

Provide us with a counter argument.
Word search doesn't qualify.

the third most loved word is "may".

the rolf ice shelf in anctartica "may" fall and "may" destroy
montevideo, uruguay with a tsunami.

fungi "may" develop on world grains if world temperatures rise
another three degrees in the next 50 years.

manhattan "may" be under water if emergency measures are not taken to build retaining walls in the east and hudson rivers.

There is climate change and we are all going to die!

Those are facts, not opinions sir.

Why then do you deny reality? I know I tried years ago but it does not seem to work.

@whodey

i think i will find a photo of some poor polar bear dying sadly of cancer and scare school children with it as a "climate change" problem.

( it has been done, not making this up )

The Amazon burning down has been exposed.

Some left wing NGOs had their goobermint money cut (this is inevitably where NGOs get their money, wadda misnomer eh), they got butt hurt and then there was a campaign of dis-information to discredit the current goobermint who cut all their lovely 'other peoples money'.

I remember an article years ago talking about children in Great Britain having nightmares because of adults obsessing over the plight of polar bears. There was one photograph in particular of a polar bear clinging to a small chunk of ice, suggesting the bear was holding on for dear life.
Emotional distress over the bears fate was primarily based on ignorance, because it's not unusual for a polar bear to swim several miles at a time. And the picture also seemed to suggest (subliminally) there were very few larger areas of ice polar bears could occupy. Which is total BS, but ignorance has proven to be an effective tool used by left wingers... and not necessarily because they know better.

@lemon-lime

there are more polar bears today than twenty years ago and that is because there are many more seals to eat.

Yeah, but try telling that to Al Gore.
If he actually placed a high value on truth he would have named his book "A Convenient Lie".
