I don't consider burqa, nor hijab, as a symbol of any religion. It's tradition and culture, but not religion.

I just heard about Dubai arresting people (mostly foreigners) for appearing nude or topless on their beaches. Seems to me that it's a bit hypocritical to expect Muslims to be able to bring burqas or whatever to Western countries if the tolerance isn't reciprocated.

You will be arrested for appearing nude or topless in most public places all over the world. Strange but true.
