Conservatives usually argue that nobody does anything for free. Humans are greedy and that people want to make money.

What conservatives mean by energy independence is they want control of the oil, and if that means running a pipeline over sacred ancestral lands of Native Americans, or destroying caribou environments, or releasing crude oil into the Gulf of Mexico to kill local fishermen's livelihoods, then that's just too damned bad.

I mean they tried starting a war in the Middle East to get their oil, but when that didn't work out, they decided to ruin this country to drill more.

The USA donated FIVE HUNDRED MILLION doses of Pfizer to the World last week. I wonder if your pitiful little 'rimming' country will get any of it? I could be sarcastic, and say 'how much did Scotland give', but it sounds better to imply that you would be on the receiving end of a handout....which you are. Did you get your vaccination?

Thanks. I argued this years ago with the conspiracy theorists. We never took Iraq's oil, the Iraq gov has complete control

When travel is opened back up, I am heading to Scotland for one week of golf, where it all began, I'll dress like a lib so he won't recognize me That is about the only contribution to civilization that Scotland has put forth. At least Norway invented ice skates!!!!
