There's a lot of griping about the mainstream media being biased towards liberal opinion. But, this is the age of internet and streaming service. Who watches the Nightly News?

So what's stopping conservative voices from being read? It's because no one reads it. There's no market for it. The market for conservative eyeballs and ears is fast-paced gotcha FoxNews talking heads and Joe Rogan's podcast.

Here's proof in data from the top 30 news websites:

https://www.pewresearch.org/journalism/2025/06/10/the-political-gap-in-americans-news-sources/

The fact that the best conservative journalism comes from National Review and Dispatch, which don't even crack the top 30, also speaks volumes. Maybe they're turning to other sources like substack instead? Nope. The top 30 substacks are all liberals. And we're a pretty even split ideologically as a country.

Conclusion: Liberals read stuff, including stuff they disagree with. Conservatives get everything they know from Foxnews and Joe Rogan.

The person who gets all their news from Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson is waaaay less informed than the prior generation listening to rush limbaugh. The new breed is conspiracies and completely fake information.

Hopefully conservatives don't just become the dumb people who don't know anything.

Fox and X is enough for world news. Both are #1 in their categories. Add your local news provider and that's all we need.

All of those networks on your list went woke and many of them are going broke.

I read from all sources but most Americans don't read anything at all.

I hope you don't think that more views by more people means you're right about something.
Y'all are retarded. Living in echo chambers of delusions and denial.

You're old.

Young people today are not going to read some long drawn out analysis of anything.
Especially when everything is opinionated and biased agendas

I agree in general, kids don't read.

But this data suggests that conservatives don't read. Which is a different topic.

LOL no it's not enough to be informed. Only enough to be brainwashed.

Republicans know that a well-timed tweet, even if it's completely false, will convince their voters of something that is easily falsifiable. Why? No one checks.

The articles on the FoxNews website, if you even want to call them articles, are just Twitter posts with a few sentences of text. No explanation, no confirmation, no context or justification. It's just puke.

There are liberal websites that do the same. CNN and MSNBC come to mind. But liberals are reading real news. Real journalism. Real opinions. Conservatives aren't.

The right-leaning websites that provide context and nuance and texture to a complex argument like immigration are fringe and barely anyone reads it. There's no market for real conservative journalism.

But the Atlantic? The New Yorker? Both have over a million paid subscribers. Lots of people read long form, just not conservatives anymore.

You have the false impression no one is reading because you don't know any liberals.

People stopped reading those rags when y'all put a dude on the cover and said it was woman of the year.

Your subscription count is sitting in waiting rooms.

Example, please. What did FOX mis-report?
I did ask this question a while back, and the liberal said he could not give me an example because he does not watch Fox News. Well, as you might imagine, my question was in response to his having said what you are saying here……Which is implying that Fox News and Joe Rogan are misrepresenting stuff that we conservatives are reading. HOW, pray tell, would he KNOW.??
Anyway, this paragraph was simply a primer as to what you liberals get into on the forum. Skip all that, and tell us., since you wrote it, what Fox News has mis-reported.
Just a simple example or two.

You don't understand. Conservatives aren't reading.

The behavior is easy to observe on this forum and elsewhere. You or Mott post an article where you agree with the headline, but then you don't read the article at all.

With FoxNews, the typical approach is to find a provocative tweet on Tweeter, then write an article about the tweet, and then the headline reads something like "Trans youth assaults police" when the actual tweet and article don't say anything of the sort.

You don't read.
